Meet the Staff
Joe is a Wichita native. He found a passion for anatomy and physiology in high school. He graduated from Wichita State University with his Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science with a minor in Spanish in December 2011. He then began working for Advanced Physical Therapy as an administrative staff member until he began PT school in June 2013. During PT school, Joe completed clinical rotations with emphases in orthopedics, manual therapy, and pediatrics. Joe graduated PT school in May 2016 and has been working for Advanced PT ever since. His favorite thing about APT is his work family.
Joe loves that physical therapy allows him to treat each patient as a whole person rather than as a diagnosis. His goal is to lead each patient through their rehabilitation journey and help them discover the tools needed for recovery. He loves the idea of being able to progress the profession of Physical Therapy and spends a considerable amount of time nerding-out over research.
Joe’s world is completed by his two beautiful daughters, Lucy and Amelia. He loves exploring with them. Joe’s hobbies include fitness, learning, cooking, music, and more fitness.

He attended Kansas State University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology prior to attending Rockhurst University and obtaining his Doctorate in Physical therapy in 2013. Trebor and his wife enjoyed living in Kansas City, and they remained there for 5 years where he worked in an Outpatient and Sports Physical Therapy setting. After having 2 daughters, Trebor and his wife decided to move to the Wichita area to be close to family.
As a Physical Therapist, Trebor takes a hands-on approach utilizing various manual techniques and exercise prescriptions, individualized to each patient. He believes in empowering his patients to be able to perform self-maintenance, and he educates them about how to do this. He is passionate about educating his patients about the best way to improve functional mobility and improving quality of life. It is very important to Trebor to maintain an open line of communication with patients and other healthcare providers. He wishes to continue to grow as a therapist, and he is eager to develop great relationships with his patients and the community.

Melanie is from Vancouver, BC, Canada, and has lived in the United States since 2011. She played collegiate softball at Western Nebraska Community College and Friends University, which is what brought her to the United States. Melanie knew she wanted to pursue a career in Physical Therapy after spending several months in PT rehabbing her shoulder after an injury in softball. With the motivation and care that her physical therapist provided, she was able to return to the sport that she loved. Going through this experience inspired her to want to help others return to their prior level of function and make a difference in someone’s life.
Throughout Physical Therapy school, Melanie was involved in several GoBabyGo builds and events, where PT and engineering students come together to modify power wheel cars for kids with disabilities. She is also a PT volunteer for the Adaptive Swim Classes at the Northwest YMCA.
Outside of the clinic, Melanie enjoys doing CrossFit, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She also enjoys going back home to spend time in the mountains and at the beach with her family.

Physical Therapy first came into Brianne’s life when she was 16 and injured her knee during a gymnastics meet. Recovering from an injury was tough, but also very rewarding and she decided then that she wanted to be a therapist to help others have the same experience. After receiving her Bachelors of Science from Kansas State University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wichita State University, Brianne was anxious to get started. She knew her passion was for outpatient therapy because they get to see such a variety of patients. She worked for 4 years in her hometown of Hutchinson, KS growing her skillset in the orthopedic field.
During that time her and her husband Ben welcomed their daughter, Nora, into the world. She is a spunky, fun, sweet little girl who immediately stole their hearts. When Nora was 1, she knew she needed to find a job closer to home and found Advanced Physical Therapy. She loves that Advanced Physical Therapy treats each patient like family, taking them under their wing as a clinic and making it their mission to see them improve. As a therapist, Brianne is passionate about guiding her patients through the healing process and encouraging them to become the best version of themselves mind, body and spirit.
Outside of the clinic, Brianne and her family enjoy spending time outdoors, going for walks, swimming, and riding bikes. She also enjoys working out so she can keep up with her daughter.
