June Therapist of the Month – Danielle Harrison, DPT

Danielle came to Advanced Physical therapy just a little over a year ago after obtaining both her undergrad degree in Exercise Science & her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Wichita State University. She decided to pursue being a physical therapist because she wanted to make a positive impact in patient’s lives through exercise & rehabilitation. Danielle enjoys the relationships she gets to build with her patients & helping them return to the activities they love. Throughout her time with APT, Danielle has treated patients with a variety of diagnoses out of our College Hill clinic but has become passionate about helping patients with Parkinson’s Disease. She has gone through additional training to earn her certification in LSVT BIG, a program designed to help improve their movement pattens, gait, & independence with daily activities.

Danielle is a proud Wichita State Alum & enjoys attending the WSU Men’s Basketball games. She & her husband Nathan have four chickens & an Australian shepard named Lola. Outside of treating patients, she enjoys gardening & exploring the city.
