Sue has been with Advanced Physical Therapy for just a little over three years. After obtaining her Bachelor’s in Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas in 1978, she went on to also receive her certification in Hand Therapy from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission in 1992. Sue knew she wanted to go into occupational therapy because of her desire to work with people who have mental health issues. While she was in occupational therapy school, she discovered an even stronger interest in appreciation for the physical sciences of anatomy, neurology, & kinesiology. Sue has since preferred working with physical disabilities & enjoys the success of helping others live their lives fully after an injury or helping them overcome obstacles to restore or improve function. Sue practices out of ourHutchinson clinic & specializes in Hand Rehabilitation including traumatic injuries, repetitive motion, and work injuries, & systemic conditions such as arthritis or connective tissue disorders.
When Sue is not treating patients, she enjoys knitting, felting, watercolor, & reading.
